🍎 In this project-focused lesson, we dive into creating a beautiful, functional fruit basket using your CNC machine! We take an existing $37 retail design as inspiration and completely elevate it with custom CNC joinery. You will learn how to design individual interlocking slats and spacers, incorporate hidden dowel holes for quick assembly, and customize the side panels with text or logos. We walk through importing a 3D layout from SketchUp directly into Vectric, breaking down advanced vector node editing tricks to ensure your curves are perfectly smooth for the cleanest, most efficient machining possible. Whether you are using Cut2D, VCarve, or Aspire, this beginner-friendly project is highly customizable, works on almost any machine size, and makes an outstanding gift or addition to your own kitchen!
