🛠️ Ready to get your shop organized? This week we are diving into a "Part 2" session focused on custom CNC router bit storage solutions! Inspired by a great project shared by Dwight in our community, we’re taking the concept of a wall-mounted bit cabinet and making it even better. In this lesson, we look at how to design a 2x2 foot cabinet featuring unique "wavy" split doors and customizable shelving.

You’ll learn how to import models from SketchUp into Vectric software, how to use node editing to resize parts without distorting your joinery, and how to set up toolpaths for both 3/4-inch wood and 1/8-inch acrylic inserts. Whether you want to store end mills, large surfacing bits, or even your wrenches and collets, this project is a perfect "blank canvas" for your workshop. This project is beginner-friendly and can be completed using Cut2D, VCarve, or Aspire!
