✨ Learn to create a "really awesome sign" by combining various design techniques and toolpaths in Vectric software! This lesson brings together previously learned skills into a practical project. Kyle guides you through selecting a panel shape, creating offsets for borders and pockets, and effectively organizing your layers for a streamlined workflow. Discover how to distort text using guide lines to achieve a custom look that follows the sign's contours. The core of the lesson focuses on applying multiple 2D and 2.5D toolpaths: the Pocket Toolpath for recessed areas, the Texturing Toolpath to add dynamic backgrounds, the V-Carve Toolpath for detailed text, the Molding Toolpath for a custom edge profile, and finally, the Profile Toolpath for the outer cutout. Kyle shares essential tips for optimizing cuts, cleaning up vectors, and previewing results to ensure a high-quality finish.
