Where should I ask my question?

Want a quick answer? Ask Spindle Sam.

Spindle Sam is our chatbot, trained on our lessons and training data. Ask about a technique, a lesson, or a CNC question using the chat bubble in the lower-right corner of this page or any course page.

Tell Sam what software you're using and what you're trying to do. If you need more help, post in the appropriate course channel.

A question about a course?

Post in that course's Chat channel. Include the lesson name, what you're trying to do, and a screenshot or project file when it would help explain the issue.

Look for Chat: Vectric Course, Chat: AI Course, or Chat: SketchUp Course in the sidebar.

A question for a live Q&A?

If you're an LVGT member, post in Q&A: Vectric Questions for us to cover in a weekly live session. Use Project Lesson Requests to suggest something you'd like us to teach.

A general CNC conversation?

Use General Chat to talk with other students. Share a finished project or work in progress in Project Share.

Need help with your account?

For login, billing, or access questions, email support@learnyourcnc.com or reply to one of our emails. This is the best place for anything involving your private account details.

A few helpful things to know

Why don't I see every course or membership area?

The Welcome area is available to everyone. Other areas appear when you have access to the corresponding course or membership. If you purchased something and cannot find it, open your Product Library or email support@learnyourcnc.com.

What's the difference between Tutorials and Chat?

Tutorials is where you watch your course lessons. Chat is where you ask questions about that specific course. Your Product Library also links to the training you own.

Where do I find Spindle Sam?

Look for the chat bubble in the lower-right corner of this Start Here page or any course page. Spindle Sam is trained on our lessons and training data to help with your CNC and software questions. For account, billing, or access help, contact our support team.

Can I attend the live events?

LVGT members can attend the weekly live Q&As and project lessons. Other students can attend special events available to their access group. Meetups shows the events you can access; check it for the current schedule.

Do I have lifetime access?

The Vectric Master Training Course, AI for CNC Makers Course, and SketchUp for CNC Creators Course include lifetime access and free course updates. Live Vectric Group Training is a membership: its live sessions, replay libraries, and other membership benefits are available while your subscription remains active.

How do I manage community emails and notifications?

Open your profile menu in the community and choose Notification settings to review your options. You can also adjust notifications for individual channels. The available choices depend on the community's settings.

Can I learn on my phone or tablet?

Yes. You can watch lessons on a device with an internet connection. Follow our mobile app setup guide for access on the go.
